Mission

To realize the vision, the students who are economically weak would be indentified and efforts will be taken to advice the ways and means of improving their knowledge to a level where they could become potential competitors to the best students in the society.

To realize the Mission, PETER Charitable trust covering a broader range of activities was formed.Within the framework of the Trust KALVI SELVAM meaning that Educationis the knowledge of wealth  In june 2004, 20 students were selected from nearby slums studying 8th Std.at corporation, Govt. and Govt- aided schools. The economic background of these students were such that their parents were working as mason, carpenter, construction and domestic workers. Infact, the wards were the first-generation learners in their respective families.

• The Students were living in an environment ofneighbours with bad habit pruning of their culture through constant coundeling and intraction both for students and their parents.
• Apart from the curriculam,the students were taught the moral education,yoga,spoken English,computer operation,Typewrinting etc.during their vacation holidays.
• The first set of students of 10th class who wrote Govt.exmination secured 100% pass rate and most of them got secured fairly high marks and got admission for Ist group in+1
• Thus, Our concentrated effort of the Trust would go a long way in improving not onlythe quality of life of a particular family, but also anculate the sense of value based systems around their environment which eventually will improve the environment around them and as well contribute to the nation in a very large measure.
